You will be across the street from "El Malecón", Barranco's famous cliff-side boardwalk and the famous Bridge of Sighs from where you can walk down to the beach. Within a 5-minute walk you´ll find 3 of Latin America’s top 20 restaurants (Central, Isolina & Kjolle).
Barranco also hosts many museums and art galleries such as Museo de Osma (a colonial museum located in a beautiful mansion) the contemporary art museum MAC, and MATE of world renowned photographer Mario Testino. You will not regret staying in this area of Lima!
