It is ideal if you want resort-style comfort, easy access to the beach and quick connections to the historic Walled City, usually about a 10–15 minute drive away. The building sits on Carrera 3, in one of the most convenient corners of Bocagrande. Right around the lobby you will find everyday essentials and several very good casual restaurants, plus supermarkets with extended hours, pharmacies and services, so you can comfortably do most things on foot. The beaches of Bocagrande and Castillogrande and the bayside promenades are just a few blocks away, and the Castillogrande piers are roughly an 8-minute walk if you are meeting a private boat for a day on the water. Megatienda and Carulla Express: Additional supermarkets with long opening hours within a short walk, ideal for last-minute items, snacks and drinks. Spinning Center Gym: Full gym on the ground floor of the building, extremely convenient if you want to keep up your workout routine while in Cartagena (day passes are typically available). Nightlife & Rooftops 51 Sky Bar: Dramatic rooftop bar in Bocagrande with 360° views over the bay, skyline and Old City—excellent for sunset cocktails. The Walled City & Getsemaní: A short taxi or ride-share ride brings you to Cartagena’s famous rooftop bars and cocktail spots, including several of Latin America’s most acclaimed bars and restaurants. Beaches, Bay & Walks Bocagrande Beach: The main city beach is just a few blocks away, with long stretches of sand for sunbathing, swimming and people-watching. Castillogrande Promenade: A pleasant walk along the bay with parks, piers and calmer waters—nice for morning runs or sunset strolls.
